Join our free Farm Tour to hear from a local equine owner on how she worked with Skagit CD to improve her pasture and soil health, and improve chore efficiency! You will come home with the knowledge of how to take your own soil sample and a free waiver to submit it to Simply Soil Testing in Burlington. The tour will include:

• A demonstration of SCD's Rainfall Simulator to see the impacts of soil erosion on your pasture, and how to protect your soil

• A demonstration of how to take your own soil sample

• A tour of livestock heavy use area designed for 2 horses, manure storage, and gutters that protect soil, reduce mud & runoff, and retain nutrients for use on your farm
