Water Quality Testing

Coliscan/ R Card water quality testing can give you peace of mind by providing a free, quick, and confidential method of validating your farm stewardship. We take the test and process the sample, relaying the results directly to you. Coliscan is a method for monitoring E. coli bacteria, which is a species of fecal coliform bacteria. This bacteria comes from poop and can cause serious illness in people and animals.

Our office is open to the public ​Monday- Friday ​8 am - 4:30 pm. While not required, we encourage you to make an appointment in before visiting to ensure a staff member is available when you stop by.

Public records requests should be sent to the Public Records Officer, Kelsey Freeman, at kelsey@skagitcd.org ​​​​Records are available for inspection and photocopying by appointment during our regular office hours (excluding legal holidays).
