About the event

Working buffers are designed to meet the needs of your specific farm while still providing water quality and fish health benefits. This planting features a variety of native species including Willow, Hawthorne, Clustered Wildrose, and others. We worked with the farm to identify a variety of cultivars as marketable value-added crops which are planted among the native species. Some of these plants include, Honeyberry, Walnut, Aronia, Hazelnuts and others that can be harvested from the buffer.
