TreetureTM Program - A program designed to educate local children about the values and functions of trees.  The program is carried out locally through classroom presentations and appearances by the TreetureTM costume character, "Blossom."

Grade Level Targeted:  Grades K - 3

Time of Year:  year-round

Educational materials:  TreetureTM costume ("Sprig" or "Blossom"), Activity Guide, stories, songs, educational tree "trunk."

Regional & State Envirothon - High school academic competition in environmental/resource topics.

Annual Conservation Poster Contest

6th Grade Conservation Tour  (May 13-14, 2008) - Understanding the value of our natural resources is a vital part of students' learning experience.  6th grade students learn about natural resources through a series of stations staffed by local resource professionals.
