The 2009 Upper Skagit Bald Eagle Festival will be held Saturday and Sunday January 24th and 25th.  The Skagit CD will host a display at Concrete High School.  Activities begin at 8:00 and continue all day to 4:00, and include meals, exhibits, entertainment, kids activities, live music, guest speakers, vendors and a raffle.

The Bald Eagle Festival is held every year in Concrete, Rockport, and Marblemount on the 1st weekend in February during the height of the bald eagle migration through Skagit County (along the Skagit River).  Below, volunteers help children explore the Skagit CD display depicting the functions and growth of parts of a tree.
