Arbor Day Proclamation (every April)

The celebration of Arbor Day represents an opportunity for children to take positive action to make their world a better place and to learn about trees and the natural world.  It is an opportunity for neighbors to join together for the benefit of all and for communities to reach across barriers of income, geography, culture, and politics to work for the common good.  It is an opportunity to celebrate life and the interconnectedness of all creation.
