    Skagit Conservation District Annual Recognition Banquet - The Skagit Conservation District recognizes community volunteers at an Annual Awards Banquet every September. 

 

   Eagle Fest - Festival activities related to bald eagles and their habitat include: eagle viewing, live entertainment, speakers & presentations, arts & crafts, storytelling, food, educational displays, & raffles.

 

   Earth Day - The celebration in Skagit County is held annually.

 

 

   Festival of Family Farms - Activities involve farm tours, educational displays, speeches, videos, hay rides, food booths, fresh produce, pumpkin sales and children's entertainment. October 4th and 5th, 2008. www.festivaloffamilyfarms.com

    

    Arbor Day Proclamation - An observance to promote the value of trees to our community.

 

    Soil & Water Stewardship Week - a celebration to promote individual responsibility for the soil and water resources upon which we depend.  Annual theme and educational materials available to schools and churches.
